Change of flow velocity in the lower part of the Hrušov sluice

The subject of the project is the design of a technical solution to increase the flow velocity in the lower part of the Hrušov lock in order to prevent its silting and thus increase the safety of water transport and to create the preconditions for the removal of bottlenecks in the TEN-T water transport infrastructure. To create the conditions for making this mode of transport more attractive for carriers and operators in the water transport sector. The technical solution will be developed in 3 variants, for which a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) will be prepared. Based on the results of the feasibility study and the CBA, the most appropriate option will be selected. The documentation of the construction plan will be prepared for this variant, which will be the basis for the environmental impact assessment according to Act 24/2006 Coll. on environmental impact assessment. A state expert examination will be carried out and documentation will be drawn up for a zoning decision within the meaning of Act No 50/1976 Coll. on spatial planning and building regulations. This documentation will be subject to assessment pursuant to §16, §16a of Act No 364/2004 Coll. on Water (pursuant to Article 4.7 of Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council). The project will be completed with documentation for planning permission and incorporation of comments from the assessments.
